What started as a single tank wagon and filling station operation is now a large-scale fuel distributor and wholesaler with healthy partnerships and over 100 trucks operating throughout North America.

McAlister Oil was established.
1992

The McAlister Oil team started providing fuel and services to the railroad industry.
2005

The original company was divided into two entities, McAlister Oil and McAlister Transportation
2007

Scott and Heather (McAlister) Shank purchased the company and its entities.
2017

The company name and its entities were simplified to McAlister.
Today

With operations and partnerships throughout North America, McAlister provides a range of services centered around fueling, logistics, and support for railroads and other industries.
